Comment:
ĹrÄŤla PrabhupÄda explains that when a devotee sincerely depends on KášášŁáša, the Lord personally takes charge of maintenance and protection. This verse is not poetic encouragement—it is a direct promise. Anxiety comes from thinking “I must manage everything.” Peace comes when we accept “KášášŁáša is managing.”

Bhagavad-gÄŤtÄ
BG 18.58 — “If you become conscious of Me, you will pass over all obstacles.”
đ https://vedabase.io/en/library/bg/18/58/
Comment:
PrabhupÄda highlights that remembrance of KášášŁáša activates divine intervention. Obstacles don’t disappear—but their power to disturb us disappears.
A person in full KášášŁáša consciousness is not unduly anxious about executing the duties of his existence. The foolish cannot understand this great freedom from all anxiety. For one who acts in KášášŁáša consciousness, Lord KášášŁáša becomes the most intimate friend. He always looks after His friend’s comfort, and He gives Himself to His friend, who is so devotedly engaged working twenty-four hours a day to please the Lord. Therefore, no one should be carried away by the false ego of the bodily concept of life. One should not falsely think himself independent of the laws of material nature or free to act. He is already under strict material laws. But as soon as he acts in KášášŁáša consciousness, he is liberated, free from the material perplexities. One should note very carefully that one who is not active in KášášŁáša consciousness is losing himself in the material whirlpool, in the ocean of birth and death. No conditioned soul actually knows what is to be done and what is not to be done, but a person who acts in KášášŁáša consciousness is free to act because everything is prompted by KášášŁáša from within and confirmed by the spiritual master.

Comment:
This verse reveals a deep truth: sometimes what we see as loss is actually KášášŁáša clearing false shelter, forcing us to depend fully on Him.
But if the Lord is so compassionate to His devotees, why does He expose them to special suffering? This is answered by an analogy: A very affectionate father takes the responsibility of restricting his children’s play and making them go to school. He knows that this is a genuine expression of his love for them, even if the children fail to understand. Similarly, the Supreme Lord Viᚣášu is mercifully strict with all His dependents, not only with immature devotees struggling to become qualified. Even perfect saints like PrahlÄda, Dhruva and Yudhiᚣášhira were subjected to great tribulations, all for their glorification.

Firm faith and devotional service completing all duties:
CC Madhya-lÄŤlÄ 22.62 – https://vedabase.io/en/library/cc/madhya/22/62/
Comment:
Lord Caitanya confirms that exclusive dependence is the heart of bhakti—not external perfection.
Firm faith and confidence are called ĹraddhÄ. When one engages in the Lord’s devotional service, he is to be understood to have performed all his responsibilities in the material world. He has satisfied his forefathers, ordinary living entities, and demigods and is free from all responsibility. Such a person does not need to meet his responsibilities separately. It is automatically done. Fruitive activity (karma) is meant to satisfy the senses of the conditioned soul. However, when one awakens to KášášŁáša consciousness, he does not have to work separately for pious activity. The best achievement of all fruitive activity is detachment from material life, and this detachment is spontaneously enjoyed by the devotee firmly engaged in the Lord’s service.
đ Key Takeaway
If KášášŁáša has accepted responsibility for your soul,
why should you carry the burden of fear?
Dependence is not weakness.
Dependence on KášášŁáša is intelligence.
